This Halloween we are putting on a spooktacular evening for you here at the Early Start Discovery Space! Come dressed up in costume, between 5pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 31st for an evening packed full of Halloween themed activities including; Pumpkin Head craft making, Spooky Story-Time, Mummy Wrapping and even a Fashion Parade for the best and most scarily dressed. Costumes are not limited to just the little ones, we’d love to see parents get into the spirit of the evening too. This is a great opportunity for your child to experience the fun of Halloween in a safe and interactive environment, taking part in activities that the whole family can enjoy together.

There will be two reading of some very spooky books in the Book Nook over the course of the evening. The first will be Room on the Broom, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, with the second one being Emu’s Halloween by Anne Mangan.

Children and adults are welcome to come prepared for our ultimate Halloween fashion parade! Strut your stuff around the Discovery Space as we see who has the weirdest and whackiest costumes of the evening.
If you’re in need of some costume help, come get your face painted with spooky designs on the ready!
Be prepared to get your hands messy as you create your very own slime! Measure, mix and mash the different ingredients to create the perfect stretchy, gooey slime!
Pumpkin Head Craft Making
Come and make some creepy Halloween pumpkin heads! The resources will all be ready for you at CreARTivity throughout the course of the evening, so feel free to help yourself and get crafty.
Dancing in the Pod
The Pod will be playing a number of spooky tunes over the course of the evening. Come in and dance with all the ghosts and ghouls lurking in the dark.
